Last night it was late and dark in the apartment and I believe I had an epiphany. When I was in the old house late at night when my room mate was asleep seemed to be the only time that I ever got really scared and had chills run up and down my spine. In the old house it had more rooms and more places something could jump out unexpectedly where as here in my apartment it only has 3 rooms so its less likely for something to jump out. With the house we lived downstairs so there was an upstairs with a set of stairs and our back door and here we only have the one door so someone or something coming in is easier for me to see. When it comes to paranormal phenomenon most of what I have read, pictures I have seen or videos I have seen come with a similar theme. A single person experiences something that could be labeled as paranormal and the other members of the group seem to just miss it or feel an “after” affect. As I have said in the past I have spent many years doing all I can to experience something truly paranormal including going to multiple “haunted houses” in my area late at night with nothing more than a friend and a lighter calling for something paranormal taunting it even with no results. Any belief I may have had is seriously starting to dwindle leaving me with the understanding that there really is no such thing as paranormal and it’s nothing more than our unconscious minds misinterpreting things happening to or around us.
I challenge anyone to prove this wrong and put up something tangible in the way of evidence to substantiate a claim you have. If the event really happened then someone somewhere must have some form of rock solid evidence by now as there are so many doubters out there. In this advanced technological age how can there be no rock solid irrefutable evidence to prove there is actual real paranormal activity. There are many things out there that make you think twice but that is only human nature when presented with an alternative explanation for something that seems feasible most people will stop and take a second look at both to rethink which one carries the most weight.
Here is one example I just randomly searched for on YouTube, I will offer my own take of this video. The video can be seen by clicking here or searching haunted doll on YouTube. Before watching this video the music is a little creepy as it is a violin playing and it certainly adds to the scare factor. If you watch very closely you can see the slight or small movements of the dolls hands and or arms. The first thing to be said is that the only thing visible in this video is the doll itself there is nothing else in the view of the camera which is extremely odd. Why is it sitting in a completely dark place with no other color or any sort or object for that matter around it. Why is this only happening in the dead of night or in a power outage? If you look very very closely at the dolls right shoulder there is a patch missing if you will where someone in all black could easily be manipulating the dolls arms in the way we see in the video. My interpretation of this could be wrong but it seems that most paranormal events seem to happen at night when it is extremely difficult to get a good picture or clearly catch what is going on. Do ghosts not there in the daylight? Do they only come to us when we can barely see them?
Another example for you is this one of an apparently haunted picture. You can view this picture for yourself by going clicking here to go to YouTube to watch the video. Now at first glance this picture does seem odd or out of place but most of that can be attributed to the age of the picture and style back in that time. When you watch the portion of the video that shows the eye movement look at how the only 2 things that appear to be shiny are the two things (the eyes) that move. Does this is not seem to be a little strange to anyone else? Although this one looks really good and had a history of haunting experiences tied to it one cant help but think they are all made up just for the publicity. If nothing else this video does little to add any credibility to the “haunted painting.”
These are two examples that I decided to look up while I was writing this post however they fit in very well with the tone of the post itself. I encourage anyone who reads this to let me know their take on the two videos I talked about in this post, I am curious to see if you think it’s real or fake and why. I look forward to reading your comments.
