It’s been a while since my last post and everything is still the same. I am still finding it hard to have a belief in the paranormal even with the deaths that have surrounded me in the past few months. I still feel as though there really is nothing more than what we all see on a daily basis. Which leads me to believe that because I have no religious beliefs of any sort that that may play a part in why I have not experienced any paranormal events. I do not believe in anything I cannot see or touch, that has not been explained to me in a scientific way. Some may say ‘do you believe in the wind even though you cannot see it?’, you can see it when it makes a flag wave or pushes a leaf across a body of water. Just because there are things I can physically see I can see what they do just like in the example of the wind I just mentioned. I know the likelihood of earth being the only planet populated with any form of life is absurd however because I have no proof to contrary and knowing that proof is a long long way off, my mind is set in that we are alone in the universe. It is this understanding that I have come to that all but guarantees my lack of a belief in the paranormal, however I will not say there is no chance until the day I die and have still yet to experience anything, but I know the likely hood is very very low and I am OK with that.
As hard as it may be to think of loved ones being gone and their life being ended with no afterlife to speak of may be an easier thing to grasp for some more than others. I believe that there is nothing more to life or death than what most believe to be life and death. There is no afterlife there is nothing more once you die death is final, so past lives and the like have no real basis in my eyes. Everyone is created equal but through hard work and dedication anyone can achieve greatness and that is proven by so many people living on earth who overcome the greatest of adversities just to live. What you see is what you get, what you do now matters most of all, there are no re dos or makeups you only have one life, live it as you wish without interference from others. Don’t count on an afterlife or a paranormal reincarnation so to speak to continue living as when you die you will be sadly mistaken.
But let’s say there are paranormal occurrences you cannot have good ones without some bad ones this is the law of nature how can you know one side without the other, dark without light would not be dark etc… If this were to be true would you really want someone who had their life taken in a horrific or tragic perhaps even unfortunate way to come back and be able to virtually do what they wish without consequence? There is little we would be able to do against an apparition or “ghost” other than bend to its will and this is no way for us to live. Perhaps there have never been true paranormal experiences and its nothing more than an event that at the time was too difficult for the human mind to comprehend due to fear or anxiety or adrenaline or all three or a combination of these and more that lead to the easiest explanation the mind can come to, a Paranormal Experience. Upon further reflection we may come up with a logical explanation that we can recreate such as a door slamming shut (on its own) may be nothing more than a gust of wind through the house from an open window in a different room or perhaps the same room. It may be overlooked at the time due to fear and then get pushed further away because of adrenaline causing the explanation to be a paranormal experience. If you were to live your life pretending to be a psychic you would eventually be right and those who did not see all your failures may believe you to have some sort of psychic ability. So go ahead try it sometime see if you can make someone think your a psychic even if for only a few hours.
