Paranormal Epiphany

October 2nd, 2011

Last night it was late and dark in the apartment and I believe I had an epiphany. When I was in the old house late at night when my room mate was asleep seemed to be the only time that I ever got really scared and had run up and down my spine. In the old house it had more rooms and more places something could jump out unexpectedly where as here in my apartment it only has 3 rooms so its less likely for something to jump out. With the house we lived downstairs so there was an upstairs with a set of stairs and our back door and here we only have the one door so someone or something coming in is easier for me to see. When it comes to most of what I have read, pictures I have seen or videos I have seen come with a similar theme. A single person experiences something that could be labeled as and the other members of the group seem to just miss it or feel an “after” affect. As I have said in the past I have spent many years doing all I can to experience something truly including going to multiple “” in my area late at night with nothing more than a friend and a lighter calling for something taunting it even with no results. Any belief I may have had is seriously starting to dwindle leaving me with the understanding that there really is no such thing as and it’s nothing more than our unconscious minds misinterpreting things happening to or around us.

I challenge anyone to prove this wrong and put up something tangible in the way of evidence to substantiate a claim you have. If the event really happened then someone somewhere must have some form of rock solid evidence by now as there are so many doubters out there. In this advanced technological age how can there be no rock solid irrefutable evidence to prove there is actual . There are many things out there that make you think twice but that is only human nature when presented with an alternative explanation for something that seems feasible most people will stop and take a second look at both to rethink which one carries the most weight.

Here is one example I just randomly searched for on YouTube, I will offer my own take of this video. The video can be seen by clicking here or searching haunted doll on YouTube. Before watching this video the music is a little as it is a violin playing and it certainly adds to the factor. If you watch very closely you can see the slight or small movements of the dolls hands and or arms. The first thing to be said is that the only thing visible in this video is the doll itself there is nothing else in the view of the camera which is extremely odd. Why is it sitting in a completely dark place with no other color or any sort or object for that matter around it. Why is this only happening in the dead of night or in a power outage? If you look very very closely at the dolls right shoulder there is a patch missing if you will where someone in all black could easily be manipulating the dolls arms in the way we see in the video. My interpretation of this could be wrong but it seems that most seem to happen at night when it is extremely difficult to get a good picture or clearly catch what is going on. Do not there in the daylight? Do they only come to us when we can barely see them?

Another example for you is this one of an apparently haunted picture. You can view this picture for yourself by going clicking here to go to YouTube to watch the video. Now at first glance this picture does seem odd or out of place but most of that can be attributed to the age of the picture and style back in that time. When you watch the portion of the video that shows the eye movement look at how the only 2 things that appear to be shiny are the two things (the eyes) that move. Does this is not seem to be a little strange to anyone else? Although this one looks really good and had a history of haunting experiences tied to it one cant help but think they are all made up just for the publicity. If nothing else this video does little to add any credibility to the “haunted painting.”

These are two examples that I decided to look up while I was writing this post however they fit in very well with the tone of the post itself. I encourage anyone who reads this to let me know their take on the two videos I talked about in this post, I am curious to see if you think it’s real or fake and why. I look forward to reading your comments.

Annoying Spam Comments.

September 26th, 2011

When I started this website nearly 2 years ago now, I did not create it to become a spam magnet, however this is what it had come to. When I created this website I wanted to create a place where people could come together and discuss the , add their own story or their own interpretation. I want people to come to this website and share their story and I say story because there could just as easily be an explanation that could not be seen with 1 set of eyes. It is very difficult to change someones interpretation of a particular event especially when it them or touches them.

I personally had an experience that may or may not be paranormal, however because of the amount of time that has passed before I questioned the event I am not longer in a position to validate this event. I would have liked to learn if there was someone who was playing a trick on me or just trying to me, or if perhaps it was something paranormal. I encourage people to read it in my blog which is titled “my first brush with the unexplained“.

There are many different events that could possibly be paranormal but no one should be so quick as to label it paranormal without first taking a step back and looking at the whole picture. There are many groups and individuals out there who are looking for nothing more than to make people feel silly or stupid by creating fake events and some fake evidence to back it up. There are so many fake out there that I urge you to read and think outside of the box before you get sucked into something more than you want.

Urban Legends and The Paranormal

June 18th, 2011

Over the past few years I have spent a lot of time reading up on stories, , mysteries and and I am left with questions. There are a good deal of well written stories that make you really think if it could be true or a hoax, however, there are even more that are obviously a hoax, just written for fun and nothing else. After all my reading and research I find that most stories offer little evidence or have nothing to substantiate the story or claim which is hard to believe if you have your recording the event you should be able to get something that will silence any non believer. Some for example are so old that they have been retold so many times that it comes to the point when where it originated is forgotten and parts of the legend have been taken from different points in history. The best example of this is . This is a timeless that some versions of the legend talk of the Queen of England, a witch from the time of the Salem witch trials and a poor woman who lost her child during a great war. Each of these versions have valid information that points to  actual people in history that help validate the story but with any tale that is old they almost always become and get more and more exuberant with each telling. Obviously this is used as a fun sleep over bit of fun and those who have tried this know there is nothing to this story and its all in good fun.

The story of may sound like something straight out of a fictional but it’s a real story that actually happened. Most people would say she was a vile and ruthless woman and the would definitely be right a quick search of Elizabeth Bathory you can read about her atrocities. I must warn you some of what you will read my disturb you as it was very horrific even for that time. In today’s time I would be hard pressed to believe that something like what she did could possibly happen.

Urban legends and to me are nothing more than tall tales and there is always a logical and rational explanation for what happened even if you are unable to see it at the time the events took place. There are people out there who are naturally more likely to believe in something paranormal and those who are the opposite which ever you may be remember to look at everything with an open mind and easy going attitude, you may see more than you bargained for.

“Ghost Tracks” of San Antonio

June 15th, 2011

The tracks of San Antonio is a well known story that all started with the tragic death of a bus load of children on their way home from school. The story starts in 1940 on a typical day in San Antonio; the weather was fair with no rain and nothing that would lead to the events about to transpire. On the way home the bus load of children had to cross a railroad when suddenly the bus stalled on the middle of the tracks. The bus driver tried to move the bus and when the sound of a train was heard the bus driver’s efforts were hastened but the train was too close. There wasn’t enough time to evacuate the children from the bus before the train broadsided the bus and killed everyone on the bus. The story doesn’t end with the tragic death of the children on the bus but continues on with a tale that you will have to see to believe, and many have. If you pull your vehicle onto the tracks and put your
car in neutral and turn the engine off your car will begin to move as if being pushed until you’re out of harms way. Again the part of this story doesn’t end there, if you put powder on your bumper before you pull onto the tracks once you come to a complete stop it’s said that you can see finger and hand prints on the bumper. This tragedy has created a story that people come from all over to witness this for themselves to see it with their own eyes because this story may be to unbelievable unless you experience it yourself.

One possible explanation for this is the same one given for in Moncton New  Brunswick and a few other places in the world. This may be nothing more than an optical and nothing more it only seems as though you are actually going up hill when indeed you are going downhill. Below is a video with a little explanation of the in Moncton  NB or you can do a quick Google search to learn more about it.

Dead Hitch Hiker Girl

June 7th, 2011

This is an that is, from what I can tell, not that dated and does not seem to have many versions yet. It is a simple story of a young beautiful woman goes to the local community center for a teen dance, for the purpose of this story we will call her Mary. Mary went to the dance alone with the intentions of meeting up with her fiancé and a few friends and she would get a ride home with her fiancé when the dance was over. Once at the dance she quickly found her friends and her fiancé and before too long was having the time of her life enjoying the music and present company. Sadly this did not last long and she got into a fight with her fiancé and wanted to go home but he was not ready to leave just yet. Mary threatened to leave on her own and walk home even though it was a dark and chilly night and she had nothing more than a shawl to keep her warm. This did not change her fiancés mind and Mary lived up to her threat and stormed out of the dance. She did not get very far, a few blocks towards home she was struck down by a hit and run driver and some would say that the roadway became her final resting place.

Some people have said they see a young girl walking in the same direction late at night shivering and obviously cold. She would ask for a ride home and on the ride home she is quiet saying little other than directions to her house
and maybe small talk. Once you reach her house she politely thanks you for the ride, gets out and disappears up the driveway, but before she gets out of the car she leaves behind her shawl. Noticing the young girl left her shawl behind the polite driver would call to the girl telling her she forgot her shall. Since the young girl was just dropped off she should answer the door without waking up any other occupants. But upon knocking on the door the young girl doesn’t answer but an older woman believed to be her mother. When the young girls mother sees you are there to give her a shawl she breaks down into tears and the father comes to console her. Once the father sees the shawl he knows you deserve an explanation for the emotional outburst. Showing you a picture of their daughter and explaining the events leading up to their daughters’ death. The more he talks the more unbelievable the previous events seem. Confusion sets in as you wonder why you are being told a story about the girls life when all you wanted to do was return the shawl. The father takes a deep breath and says “It was on this day 10 years ago that our daughter was struck down by a hit and run driver, she died on the road where she was hit.” Now everything becomes clear and you realize that you drove the couple’s daughter’s home and she left you with a parting memento for her parents.

This is an interesting story that is not typical to or because no one is hurt and it’s just a spirit who is trying to put parent’s hearts at rest by giving back the shawl. In another version of the story the
shawl that is brought back to the parents is the one that the girl was buried in so it is not possible for anyone to return it without digging up the grave. Below are a few links to a YouTube video that portray a similar event to
better help you understand this story.
